This project turned an
existing building with 35 to 50 year old facilities into a fully integrated,
state of the art K-6 school. This was accomplished both by construction of
new spaces, and through comprehensive alterations to the existing building,
resulting in additional classroom space, appropriate spaces for the
well-attended
music and art programs, and additional support spaces. The project also
included renovations to the existing classroom wings to improve their
teaching environments, as well as to mitigate many code and air quality
issues.
